The next 20 years…

July 2023 marked 3SNY’s 20th Anniversary. We celebrated the occasion at the clubhouse with a great catered dinner. Im very appreciative for everyone that turned out and hope everyone else can make the next event.

I wont go into how 3SNY started and the culmination of all the events leading to where we are now. I would rather take the opportunity to let the members know that we have no intention on stopping the progression of the club. Allow me to elaborate on what i mean by progression.

Starting from talking shit on 3SI forums and meeting up in parking lots 20 years ago. We currently have a club that has multiple sponsors, amazing rapport with numerous manufacturers and industry professionals, 4400 sq/ft facility, produce our own products, and offer numerous services.

The car club offers its members much more than any other club. Besides the usual t-shirt and decals. We have a clubhouse where members can tweek and wash their cars. We can provide short & long term storage. Dave Mennella is always willing to provide advice and direction with regards to repairing and modifying our cars. Ray Pampena, makes it a point to be available for 3SNY / 3SNJ / 3SCT / NY Drive members.

With the continued reinvestment into the club we can offer AC servicing and keep a healthy supply of parts on hand. With regards to parts; we have multiple accounts to offer members OEM, OEM replacement, and aftermarket parts at prices close to cost. We are able to maintain an inventory of used parts for members looking for hard to find parts. We also have many other ventures in various stages of progress. Inevitably providing even more products and services in the near future.

The focus from this point on will be on increasing membership attendance and attending more local car shows/ meets. The goal will be to provide presence at the local car scenes and possibly attract new members. Even if they don’t own a 3000GT or Stealth. They can be introduced to our parent club New York Drive Motor Club. I intend to find interesting venues and cruising events to keep all the members interested.

New Product

We are now carrying newly manufactured billet idler pulleys designed by EvoSpec. Both pulleys directly replace both OEM idlers and match the OEM size. Eliminating the need for a custom sized belt. They have a high load / high RPM bearing and each pulley comes with its own spacer, Titanium mounting bolts, and Titanium washers. These pulleys are designed to be lighter than OEM. The large pulley is approximately 3.22 ounces less than stock and the small pulley is approximately 18.32 ounces than stock (Stock 29.12oz / 18.72oz vs 10.80oz / 15.5oz). They available in raw machined finished and red/black/purple anodized finishes. Currently we have red and black in stock. If you would like any other finish we would have to order it.

Dave has installed this on multiple motors. He has confirmed that the fitment is correct and performs well. Its another great opportunity to add some eye candy to your power plant.

With the weather warming up. Now is a great time to have your AC recharged. The machine works with any make and model so its not just limited to your 3000GT or Stealth. The A/C machine’s flushing software allows us the ability to clean a very old and/or contaminated AC systems.
